Several years back, I had to make a temporary move. To make everything fit, I decided to use a self-storage facility - that was really the only option I had back then. I'm so grateful for Safeway's new storage options!

I had to go to U-Haul, wait in line for 45 minutes to get my truck, pay for the truck, insurance, rope and a utility dolly - which even just for a day is pretty costly. Then, after more than an hour, I got back to my apartment. Then the fun began - moving my couches, big TV, other utilities - all down a flight of stairs! After about 3 hours, I was finally able to secure everything in the truck - the best I could. Then I had to drive to the storage facility - and do everything in reverse! I was so tired by then, who really wants to unpack an entire u-haul truck after you've just packed it?

Here goes. After I got half my contents in the storage facility, I realized I didn't do it right. You put all the big items in the truck first - and if I was going to be able to get to other items in my storage unit, all the big items would have to go in first here as well. After a couple more hours, I was finally finished. I called a friend to meet me at the u-haul, dropped the truck off - and was finally done.

What I thought was going to be a couple hours turned into a costly, all day ordeal. I can't begin to tell you how nice my last move was. No rental trucks, no doing everything myself. No all day ordeals!

Zack was awesome. Not only did deliver the pod to my front door, he helped me wrap everything for protection and then he actually loaded the pod. I was amazed at how much stuff could fit in the pod when he packed it.

From a whole day to a couple of hours? Wow! What a difference! Thank you.
